The new method of biomass to liquid fuel has a high yield

Based on the previous series of work on the catalytic conversion of biomass carbohydrates into liquid fuels and the research experience of new catalysts, this research group proposed a new strategy
for connecting biomass gasification and carbohydrate aqueous reforming process (APP) by formaldehyde glycan reaction.
This strategy produces twice as much liquid fuel as the biomass gasification-Fischer-Tropsch pathway and 1.
2 times
the energy retention.
The strategy also realizes the full component utilization of biomass, avoiding the high-energy, high-pollution biomass pretreatment process
in traditional hydrolysis methods.
