Goodyear announced
that it will expand production
at
its Slovenian plant.
The expanded products will be for the replacement tire market, mainly 17~19 inch radial tires
.
According to the plan, Goodyear will invest $107 million to add the necessary plant and production equipment
to the plant.
The entire expansion project is carried out in two phases, starting from January 2019 and 2020-2021
.
By 2022, Goodyear's Slovenia plant will increase its production capacity by 25% (approximately 1.
8 million tires).

Goodyear said the large-size radial tires produced by the expansion project will help Goodyear meet market demand
in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
