Iran's Deputy Energy Minister Homayoun Haeri announced that Tehran and Yerevan are currently working to complete the implementation
of a third high-voltage transmission line from Iran to Armenia.

"Timely measures to implement the third high-voltage transmission line from Iran to Armenia are one of the most important parts of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Iran and Armenia," Haeri said
after a meeting with Armenian Minister of Energy Infrastructure and Natural Resources Artur Grigoryan.

Iran's deputy energy minister said that during the meeting with Artur Grigoryan, the Armenian minister stressed the importance of
completing the third Iran-Armenia high-voltage transmission line construction project.

Artur Grigoryan, who also co-chairs the Armenia-Iran Intergovernmental Committee, noted that the construction of high-voltage transmission lines between Armenia and Georgia could play an important role
in the context of increased economic cooperation between Tehran and Yerevan.

The two sides also exchanged views
on the agreements reached at the 15th meeting of the Armenian Intergovernmental Committee held in Yerevan in 2018.
The two sides emphasized the mandate of the IGC to deepen and expand trade and economic relations
    between the two countries.
