    and China Pingmei Shenma Group formally reached a strategic cooperation to explore new opportunities for coordinated development through a number of agreements
    .

    The agreement includes:

    Five-year purchase and sale of adiponitrile (ADN) and adipic acid (AA);

    INVISTA Textiles (UK) LLC will license nylon 6,6 polymerization technology for two new production lines in Pingmei Shenma;

    INVISTA will also license nitrous oxide (N 2 O) elimination technology for Pingmei Shenma's adipic acid production

    By signing a new cooperation agreement, we hope to continue to deepen the cooperative relationship accumulated by each other in the past two decades

    At INVISTA, we are committed to the comprehensive development of the nylon 6,6 value chain in a responsible manner, and we also expect our emission control technology to be applied as soon as possible in the production of adipic acid in Pingmei Shenma, which will bring more reductions.

    INVISTA's nitrous oxide (N 2 O) elimination technology can significantly reduce N 2 O emissions during the production of adipic acid, the upstream raw material of nylon 6,6.

    The use of this technology in the Pingmei Shenma production facility can significantly reduce nitrous oxide emissions per year, equivalent to about 13 to 14 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions
