On October 10, Fuzhou Jiangyin Gangcheng Economic Zone Management Committee announced the first public announcement of the environmental impact assessment of Wanhua Chemical (Fujian) Co.

Project overview: Wanhua Chemical (Fujian) Co.

The main environmental problems of project construction include: the operation and construction of construction vehicles, construction machinery and equipment, and construction waste water, construction waste gas, dust, construction noise, and solid waste generated by personnel activities during the construction period.

The main product scale of the project is VCM 400,000 t/a, PVC 400,000 t/a, by-product 25%wt hydrochloric acid 37,600 t/a, and new VCM and PVC plants are built, and EDC tank farms, VCM tank farms, refrigeration stations, Low temperature warehouse, PVC packaging workshop, VCM/PVC plant substation and other public works and three waste treatment environmental protection facilities and other supporting facilities
