Germany-based styrene supplier INEOS has begun construction of a 100,000-ton/year acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate (ASA) plant in Bayport, Texas, U.
The development of the plant follows the final investment decision made last December and underscores the company's triple transformation growth strate.
WorleyParsons was awarded the contract for procurement and construction servic.
The project is part of the company's expansion plan for the Americas mark.
Production at the ASA plant in Altamira, Mexico will be relocated to a new facility in Baypo.
