On September 13, the China National Light Industry Council formulated and issued the "Guidelines for the Classification and Labeling of Degradable Plastic Products" (hereinafter referred to as the "Guide").
Biodegradable plastics such as PBST, PBAT, and PBSA are listed in the "Guide" catalog of fully degradable polymers.
Since the beginning of this year, Yizheng Chemical Fiber will accelerate the industrialization of PBST, PBAT, and PBSA as key scientific and technological research projects for the 100-day breakthrough and continuous breakthrough.
According to the person in charge of the PBT Department of Yizheng Chemical Fiber, the annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of biodegradable plastics will be formed through technological transformation.
