South Korean cable manufacturer LS Cable & System recently announced that it has completed the construction
of the Indonesian Power Cable Plant (LSAGI).
LS Cable & System began construction of the plant
in September 2020 on a 64,000-square-meter (19,360-pyeong) site in Artha Industrial Park, near Jakarta.
The LSAGI plant will primarily produce overhead lines for power transmission and distribution and low-voltage (LV) cables
for buildings.
Indonesia is the largest cable market in ASEAN, with active power infrastructure construction and booming construction business
.
The company expects the Indonesian cable market to recover
quickly after the COVID-19 pandemic.

LSAGI is a joint venture
between LS Cable & System and Artha Graha Network (AG Group), Indonesia's tenth largest company.
LS Cable & System plans to leverage AG Group's local business experience and sales network in banking, hotels, construction/resorts, etc.

With the completion of the Indonesian plant, LS Cable & System will operate a total of 12 production subsidiaries
in the United States, Poland, Vietnam and China.
