With three different tariffs – defence duty, anti-dumping duty and port duty – the industry now needs to weather the storm
.
Raj Prabhu, CEO and co-founder of Mercom Capital Group, said in a statement that not only the tariffs themselves, but also the uncertainty about the future have left the industry in a very difficult position
.
Prabhu said government agencies need to address these issues quickly to keep investors positive.
"Total solar installations are 123%
higher than the 4,313 MW added in 2016," the report said.
As of December 31, 2017, India's cumulative installed solar capacity increased to 19.
