Sinochem News reported on November 9th, according to Ansense Energy, according to "Business Standards" reports, Reliance Industries (RIL) has withdrawn from all upstream shale oil and gas businesses in the United States
A company statement stated that Reliance Eagleford Upstream Holdings, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries, announced that it has signed an agreement with Ensign Operating III, a Delaware limited liability company, to divest its Eagleford Shale area.
Reliance Group stated: "Through this transaction, Reliance Group divested all shale gas assets and withdrew from the North American shale gas business
Reliance stated that REUHLP and Ensign signed a sale and purchase agreement for the sale on November 5, 2021
RIL officials declined to disclose the price at which the transaction occurred
