India unveils first EV charging corridor

The corridor will be a network of electric vehicle charging stations, initially to be deployed at Hotel Center Point in Ronavara
    .
In the next phase, the charging network will be extended to Bangalore and Mysore so that EV drivers can drive the entire area without worrying about the next charging station
    .

In July, Magenta Power installed India's first solar-powered EV charging station
    in Navi Mumbai.
"ChargeIn will be a fully integrated network of charging points, including AC and DC chargers
    .
All ChargeIn charging points will be centrally monitored
    via a network connection.
    The company said
    in a statement.

Initially, some charging stations will have automated payment systems so that users can use the ChargeIn app to charge
vehicles using an OTP-based online payment mechanism.
This payment system will be deployed in a phased manner across
    all charging stations.

"The ChargeIn charging corridor covers charging stations
    for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, four-wheelers and buses.
While this network of charging stations will open up India's 'electric highway', it will also provide unique employment opportunities
    for charging station owners.
Maxson Lewis, CEO and Managing Director of Magenta Power, said
    .

Magenta Power said it is in talks with potential investors to support growth plans to continue building charging networks
    in asset-intensive businesses.
