India initiates anti-dumping investigation on Chinese plastics machines

On February 17, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement stating that at the request of the Indian Plastics Machinery Manufacturers Association, an anti-dumping investigation was initiated against plastic processing machinery or injection molding machines originating in or imported from China

The dumping investigation period of this case is from April 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020 (18 months), and the damage investigation period is from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017, and April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018, April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019 and the dumping investigation period

Products under investigation do not include blow molding machines (customs code 847730), vertical injection molding machines, electric injection molding machines, multi-color/multi-molding shoe machines, rotary injection molding machines for making shoes and soles/laces/heels (The customs code is 8453)
