According to Reuters on September 26, Reuters reported on Tuesday that India has eased restrictions on state-owned refiners, allowing state-owned refiners to buy more oil
from suppliers who arrange tankers and insurance.

The proportion of imported oil that Indian state-owned refiners can buy based on cost plus insurance and freight has been relaxed to 35%, compared with the previous limit of 15.
