Recently, Wang Xiaoqiu, vice president of SAIC Motor and general manager of SAIC Motor Passenger Vehicle, said that in the next five years, the company will launch at least one new energy vehicle
    every year.

According to the plan, SAIC will launch two new energy vehicles in 2016, of which the Roewe 950 plug-in hybrid model with SGE1.
5T engine will be launched in March, mainly for government customers, and the other is the Roewe SUV plug-in hybrid model
launched at the end of next year.
By 2017, a plug-in hybrid model of the new Roewe 550 will also be launched, and in 2018, a new pure electric model
with a cruising range of more than 350 kilometers will be launched.
In terms of sales volume, SAIC Motor will produce 12,000 new energy vehicles this year and aims to produce 200,000 units

Wang Xiaoqiu pointed out that with the continuous improvement of new energy vehicle production capacity and output, the cost of core systems including batteries, motors and electronic controls will drop
    significantly.
