5T engine will be launched in March, mainly for government customers, and the other is the Roewe SUV plug-in hybrid model
launched at the end of next year.
By 2017, a plug-in hybrid model of the new Roewe 550 will also be launched, and in 2018, a new pure electric model
with a cruising range of more than 350 kilometers will be launched.
In terms of sales volume, SAIC Motor will produce 12,000 new energy vehicles this year and aims to produce 200,000 units

Wang Xiaoqiu pointed out that with the continuous improvement of new energy vehicle production capacity and output, the cost of core systems including batteries, motors and electronic controls will drop
significantly.
According to SAIC's plan, from 2015 to 2020, products equipped with a new generation of new energy vehicles will achieve three "more than 20%"
in three indicators: carbon emission reduction, power improvement, and economic improvement.
