According to the technology already widely used by UK utilities, cybersecurity technology ranks first at 70%, cloud technology is close to 66%, and big data analytics is about 63%.
About 61 percent of companies surveyed have invested in cybersecurity technology, but 45 percent cited budget constraints as a barrier
to accessing the latest digital services.
In addition, businesses that fail to implement effective cybersecurity measures could soon be fined £17 million or 4%
of global turnover.
