According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, in October 2022, China imported 22.
259 million tons of thermal coal (including lignite, bituminous coal and subbituminous coal, the same below), an increase of 2.
15% year-on-year and a month-on-month decrease of 12.
26%.

From January to October 2022, China imported a total of 169 million tons of thermal coal, a year-on-year decrease of 41.

In October 2022, China imported 12.
207 million tons of lignite, an increase of 42.
