Dongying City focuses on six major industries with strong industrial foundation, obvious comparative advantages and great development potential: petrochemicals, rubber tires, petroleum equipment, non-ferrous metals, new materials and biomedical industries, and fully implements the "chain length system" of the industrial chain

The petrochemical industry focuses on the five sub-industry chains of ethylene, propylene, butene, PX, and pure benzene in the two major industrial chains of olefins and aromatics, and builds a trillion-level industrial cluster with strong chains, high value and international competitiveness.
