the lithium-ion battery industry in 2021.
In 2021, China's lithium-ion battery industry will take deepening supply-side structural reform as the main line, accelerate the modernization level of the industrial chain and supply chain, achieve sustained rapid growth in the entire industry, and continuously improve the supply capacity of advanced products, which will strongly support the work
of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality".
In 2021, the national lithium-ion battery production will be 324GWh, a year-on-year increase of 106%, of which the production of consumption, power and energy storage lithium batteries will be 72GWh, 220GWh and 32GWh, respectively, an increase of 18%, 165% and 146%
year-on-year.
The output of the four key materials of lithium battery has grown rapidly, and according to research institutions, the growth rate of cathode materials, separators and electrolytes is close to 100%.
The total output value of the lithium battery industry exceeded 600 billion yuan

The whole industry continues to deepen innovation, the energy density of advanced ternary batteries and lithium iron phosphate batteries has reached an average of 280Wh/kg and 170Wh/kg respectively, and the cycle life of battery systems of backbone enterprises has exceeded 5,000 times

The safety standard system of lithium battery products has been accelerated and improved, safety standards such as "Safety Requirements for Lithium Storage Batteries and Battery Packs for Electric Energy Storage Systems" have been formally established, and relevant public service platforms have been continuously established and improved
