Ukrainian telecommunications company Ukrtelecom said today that 9,500 kilometers of new fiber optic network paths were deployed across the country in 2020, and despite compliance with COVID-19 quarantine measures, the company still set a new record
in 2020.

The annual report of Telecom Ukraine also revealed that in 2019-2020, about 600 settlements and communities across Ukraine were connected to high-speed fiber optic networks, helping to narrow the national digital divide
.

Currently, Ukrtelecom's fiber optic zone also offers IP telephony, interactive TV, and business-oriented services
