Italian energy company Enel Green Power said today that in 2020, the company added 3,106 MW of renewable energy capacity worldwide, an increase of 77 MW
from the previous year.
Among them, the new capacity is distributed in about 46 power stations, of which wind farms account for the largest at 2284 MW, while solar power totals 803 MW
.
By region, the majority of construction (1,386 MW) took place in North America, mainly in the United States, followed by Latin America (879 MW), mainly in Brazil
.
In Europe, Enel Green Power added 508 MW of new installed capacity, with the remaining 333 MW built in the African, Asian and Oceanian markets

The company said the construction of the new capacity comes at the same time as efforts to refurbish and power the approximately 1.
