Recently, JinkoSolar, a leading member of the "Silicon Module Super Alliance" (SMSL), said that solar module shipments in 2017 have reached 9.
8 GW, and the figure is expected to reach 12 GW
by 2018.
According to the SMSL report, the specific data of solar module shipments in 2017 was 9,807MW, an increase of 47.

from 6,656MW in 2016.
Solar module shipments in the fourth quarter of 2017 were 2,481 MW, up 4.

from 2,374 MW in the third quarter of 2017.
SMSL also directed module shipments in the first quarter of 2018 to be between 1.
8GW and 2GW, compared to 2,068MW
in the first quarter of 2017.
JinkoSolar expects continued growth
in this emerging market.
The company's rival Canadian Solar also recently said that shipments of solar modules grew almost steadily in 2018
