According to the Finnish national radio English news report, in 2016 Finland wind turbine construction will hit a record, 22 wind farms will build 234 wind turbines, about twice as much as in 2015, when the total installed capacity of Finnish wind power will reach 759MW.
About half of Finland's wind farms are built in the Ostrobothnia region of northern Finland, which accounts for about 44%
of the country's wind power generation.
This summer, 17 new wind turbines will be built at the Santavuori Wind Farm, which will generate 150 GWH of electricity per year, and 12 wind turbines are currently in operation at the Santavuori Wind Farm
