Recently, Germany-based renewable energy company IBC Solar announced that it will supply photovoltaic systems
to two industrial companies in Lebanon.
One of them is Al-Kazzi, a company that produces nuts and baked goods, and this 163kW system is located at the new plant
in Hsoun (CAZA Byblos).
It uses 615 IBC PolySol 265 CS modules and IBC TopFix 200 mounting systems
.
This is a diesel hybrid system that synchronizes the energy generation of the photovoltaic system with the diesel generator set during the day
.
Another Woody plant in Halat, near the Mediterranean, uses 285 IBC PolySol 265CS modules and a TopFix 200 Delta Support mounting structure
.
"The combination of high solar radiation and attractive state-funded programs like the Lebanon Green Loan will make countries in the MENA region a key solar market
for the future," said the Senior Vice President of Solutions International.

Lebanon recently called for interest in the use of battery storage in Lebanon's 300 MW grid-connected battery project, which is currently 25 times
oversubscribed.
