On May 20, 2020, Huntsman announced that it has named its world-leading spray polyurethane foam (SPF) business Huntsman Building Solutions (HBS)

In February, Huntsman acquired Icynene-Lapoll, a leading spray polyurethane foam company in North America, and merged with Demilec (acquired by Huntsman in 2018)

Commenting on the new name, Tony Hankins, president of Huntsman's Polyurethanes business unit, said: "The integration of the two legacy companies is well underway and the choice of the new name is an important milestone

for the company.
