Recently, Huayou Cobalt signed a ternary precursor "purchase agreement" with Pohang Chemical and Zhejiang Puhua New Energy Materials Co.

The agreement stipulates that Huayou Cobalt and its subsidiaries intend to supply 160,000 tons and 15,000 tons of ternary precursor products for battery materials to Pohang Chemical and Puhua respectively from January 2023
to December 2025.

The signing of the ternary precursor long-term supply agreement is conducive to further exerting the synergy effect between Huayou Cobalt and POSCO Chemical Joint Venture, deepening the cooperative relationship between the two parties, enhancing the market share of Huayou Cobalt's ternary precursor products, and strengthening its competitiveness
