Recently, Chinese company Huawei has been selected as the sole inverter supplier
for Saudi Arabia's 300MW Sakaka plant.
It is understood that the plant is the first large-scale solar project
in the country.
Developer ACWA Power, which has a regular arrangement to use Huawei monitoring equipment, will use a SUN2000-90KTL string inverter
at the Al Jouf site.
According to Huawei, using its smart PV solution will increase production by 1.
5-2%.
ACWA won Sakaka's tender process
in early 2018 at a record low price.
