Hualong No. 1 International Summit was held as the first large-scale international promotion

On the 23rd, in order to promote China's nuclear power "going global", the Hualong No.
1 International Summit and Hualong Tour Series hosted by China General Nuclear Power Group opened
at the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Base in Shenzhen.
This is the first time that China's independent third-generation nuclear power technology solution has held a large-scale overseas market promotion activity

More than 30 guests from more than 10 countries including the United Kingdom and Thailand, as well as representatives of the National Energy Administration and the Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense attended the relevant activities

During the summit, CGN introduced Hualong No.
1 technology and export supporting solutions to target market countries and partners, and held a signing ceremony
for the use of China's independent nuclear power instrumentation and control system, Harmony System, in the second phase of Fangchenggang of Hualong No.
1 demonstration unit.
He Yu, Chairman of CGNPC, said that as one of the main creators of Hualong No.
1 technology, CGN started from the construction of Daya Bay Nuclear Power Station, and after more than 30 years of development, it has become a major nuclear power developer in the world and has achieved good results
in the international nuclear power field.

1 nuclear power technology and more than 30 years of experience in design, construction and operation, CGN is confident to provide international partners with better, safer and more economical nuclear power solutions and services

In recent years, CGN has done a lot to pave the way
for opening up the international market.
In June 2015, CGN signed an agreement with the ASEAN Energy Centre to jointly carry out nuclear power capacity building activities for ASEAN countries and promote the establishment of the China-ASEAN Clean Energy Capacity Building Center
at CGNPC.
In September of that year, CGN and the Kenya Nuclear Power Authority signed a memorandum of understanding to carry out comprehensive cooperation
in Kenya's nuclear power development and capacity building based on the Hualong 1 technology and its improved technology.

By the end of last year, CGN had signed an agreement with EDF on the Bradville B project in the UK based on Hualong No.
1.
In addition, Thailand has also signed a contract with CGN to participate in the second phase of the Fangchenggang nuclear power project built by CGN using the "Hualong No.
1" technology, and He Yu, chairman of CGN, said that the finalization of these two agreements means that the internationalization process of "Hualong No.
1" has begun

It is understood that after the summit, guests and media from all over the world will embark on a two-and-a-half-day "Hualong Tour" to deeply understand the capabilities of China's nuclear power industry, and visit the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Base and the design, manufacturing and verification bases related to Hualong No.
1, such as China General Nuclear Power Design Institute, China General Nuclear Power Research Institute, and Dongfang Electric Nansha Production Base, as well as the construction site
of the second phase of Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Plant, one of the Hualong No.
