The Degradable and Recyclable Center was informed that on April 11, the environmental impact assessment information of the 600,000-ton/year high-performance degradable new material project of Zhejiang Huafeng Environmental Protection Materials Co.

Project Overview

Project location: within the planned chemical agglomeration area of Dingshan Phase II of Ruian Economic Development Zone, the newly acquired total land area is 459,669.

Total investment: 11,791,260,000 yuan

Outline of construction project

The annual output of main products is 300,000 tons of PBAT (of which 120,000 tons are used for modification), 300,000 tons of PPC (of which 120,000 tons are used for modification) and 300,000 tons of degradable plastic films; by-products THF 0.

Previously, Huafeng stated that it would actively respond to the national "double carbon" goal and the "plastic limit order" policy, accelerate the layout of the field of degradable materials, and plan to build a "adipic acid → PBAT → CO2-based high molecular weight bio-recyclable" during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
