The project adopts Olefin Catalytic Cracking (OCC), an original technology independently developed by Sinopec to efficiently convert low-value olefin resources to propylene and ethylene
This project is the first time to synthesize a fully crystalline molecular sieve catalyst with preferential growth of crystal planes.
In addition, the new generation of high-yield OCC technology was successfully applied in the 90,000-ton/year industrial plant of Lihongxin and achieved stable operation, realizing efficient integration with the methanol-to-olefins (MTO) plant, reducing the alcohol consumption of the MTO plant by 10%.
