Heubach and SK Capital complete acquisition of Clariant's pigment business

Global pigment manufacturer Heubach Group and private investment company SK Capital Partners said on the 24th that they have completed the acquisition of Clariant's global colorants business

The combined business will operate under the Heubach brand, creating a Vienna-based global leader in pigment technology and industry, the press release said

With a history of more than 200 years, Heubach is currently a global industry leader in pigments, pigment preparations, dyes, colorants and specialty materials
.
The company has 19 factories in Europe, America, Asia and Africa, with annual sales of around 1 billion euros

Stefan Doboczky has been appointed CEO of the Heubach Group, effective January 10, 2022

Previously, Doboczky was CEO of Lenzing AG, a global leader in cellulosic fibers and biochemicals

Before joining Lenzing, he was a member of the management board of DSM, where he spent nearly 20 years in various management positions

Doboczky holds a PhD in Natural Sciences from the Technical University of Vienna and an MBA from the International School of Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland
