This is China's first technical project to explore the construction and safe operation guarantee of UHV power grid under extremely cold conditions, with a project implementation period of 3 years and a total investment of nearly 10 million yuan

Relying on the results of the project, Heilongjiang Province can actively apply for the preparation of State Grid Corporation enterprise standards, power industry standards and national standards, and the relevant scientific research results can be popularized and applied to the Mengxi-Tianjin South UHV project under construction and the planned UHV projects in northeast and Mengdong and other alpine areas
