HB Fuller has announced a strategic investment to build a new facility in Cairo to support customer demand growth in fast-growing markets such as Egypt, Turkey, the Middle East and Africa
.
The new facility will be a regional supply center and a center of excellence for adhesive manufacturing, serving industries such as hygiene, packaging, labeling, paper converting and graphic arts
.
This world-class production facility will meet industry-leading sustainability standards
.
The planned factory, with a total area of 37,000 square meters and two floors, will be built in the well-equipped CPC Industrial Park in Cairo's 6th October Industrial City, which is considered a strategic location for manufacturing and will open in 2022.
Full production begins in the last quarter
.
"Egypt has naturally become a major gateway to the region, and with the establishment of the new facility, we will expand our current leadership in Egypt and Turkey and develop our competitive position in emerging markets in the Middle East and Africa," HB Fuller India Harsh Gupta, General Manager, Middle East and Africa, said, “Our Cairo presence has expanded, designed with future growth in mind, doubling our production capacity and advancing our technology
