Haiyang Nuclear Power Unit 1 began its first charging on June 21, 2018, the reactor reached critical for the first time on August 8, and successfully used nuclear steam to successfully flush the turbine to the rated speed for the first time on August 14, and successfully completed the tests
before the turbine generator was connected to the grid.
After being connected to the grid, Unit 1 will enter the load-bearing trial operation state and continue to carry out the load-bearing related test projects to prepare
for commercial transportation.
