Sinopec News Network reported on May 28 that the 800,000-ton/year ethylene plant of the Gulei refining and chemical integration project undertaken by the Tenth Construction Company of Refining and Chemical Engineering Co.

The Gulei refining and chemical integration project is by far the largest petrochemical joint venture and cooperation project on both sides of the strait.

Shijian Company undertook the construction tasks of four sets of equipment including the 800,000/year steam cracker, the 600,000 tons/year styrene device, the 300,000 tons/year ethylene vinyl acetate resin device, and the low-temperature tank area of the terminal liquefied hydrocarbon reservoir area.

During the epidemic, Shijian Company actively contacted various units to seize the opportunity to open up three key routes for personnel returning to work, logistics materials, machinery and equipment, and epidemic prevention materials to win conditions for resumption of project construction.
