The Guizhou Department of Industry and Information Technology said in the interpretation of the plan that with the proposal of the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality", a series of major strategic decisions and deployments have been made at the national level, involving the coal chemical industry, and relevant policies have been issued to regulate the development of the industry, which has put forward stricter requirements

The "Plan" proposes that Guizhou will accelerate the construction of a number of chemical parks
with coal chemical industry as the leading industry by relying on the technical transformation of synthetic ammonia and methanol, the integration of coal coking, coal-to-ethylene glycol, and coal-to-polyglycolic acid.

Industrial layout: develop a coal coking integrated industry focusing on metallurgical coke and deep processing of coking by-products in Liupanshui, and create an integrated industrial cluster area for coal coking in Liupanshui; In Bijie, an industrial agglomeration area
with modern coal chemical industry extension chain and supplementary chain as the main function is laid out.

Key parks: focus on the construction of Bijie Qianxi, Zhijin, Liupanshuipanbei, Liuzhi, Pannan and other agglomeration areas

The "Plan" proposes to accelerate the transformation and upgrading
of traditional products such as synthetic ammonia methanol.
Use the existing methanol production capacity to diversify and extend the methanol reprocessing industry, focusing on the development of formaldehyde, acetic acid, formamide, polycarbonate and post-processing, alcohol ether fuel and other organic fine chemical products

Promote the extension chain of synthetic ammonia, focusing on the development of nitro compound fertilizer, high-quality ammonium phosphate, acrylonitrile, organic amines and other deep-processed products
