On July 16, the 800,000-ton/year styrene plant of Guangdong Petrochemical Refining and Chemical Integration Project started construction in Da Nanhai International Petrochemical Comprehensive Industrial Park in Jieyang (Huilai)

The project is general contracted by Huanqiu Northeast Project.
It is currently the world's largest styrene plant with a single line scale.
The project scope covers 800,000 tons/year of styrene plant and the supporting cabinet room and substation.
The production plant is divided into ethylbenzene reaction part, The ethylbenzene fractionation part, the dehydrogenation reaction part, the styrene rectification part, and the public works part are scheduled to be handed over on May 30, 2022

It is understood that, in order to ensure the high quality of the device and the start of construction as scheduled, the global Northeast Engineering scientific management, strict organization, overall planning, the first use of LUMMUS technology and digital delivery
