Reuters said on the 12th that Cruise Automation, GM's autonomous driving division, released a new generation of driverless cars - Cruise AV
on Thursday.
This is a 100% autonomous car with no steering wheel, gas pedal and brake pedal
.
The car can even open the doors for those with disabilities who cannot open their own doors, in addition to facilities
specifically for hearing- and visually impaired passengers.
GM said the Cruise AV is an upgraded version of the Chevrolet Bolt electric car, and the driver's seat on the original Bolt model became the front left passenger seat

The company said it has submitted an application to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for approval to add the new vehicle to its first commercial rideshare fleet
starting next year.
Cruise AV is equipped with GM's fourth-generation self-driving software and hardware, including 21 radars, 16 cameras and 5 lidars that help self-driving cars "see" nearby objects and obstacles
