Global Malaysia Oil Upgrade Project starts

On November 16, the 1.
1 million tons/year Euro IV upgrade project of Hengyuan Refinery of China Huanqiu Engineering Company produced qualified products, marking the completion of the project and the success
of the start-up.

It is understood that the project is a model for the implementation of the "same ship to sea" strategy under the background of the "Belt and Road", and after the completion of the project, it will meet the upgrading of gasoline products produced by the plant from the existing Euro II standard to the Euro IV standard, and reserve the ability to upgrade to the Euro V standard, contributing to the implementation of local clean energy utilization and the realization of the "dual carbon" goal
.

The person in charge of Hengyuan project introduced that the project officially started construction
in October 2018.
Global Southeast Asia Company builds a project management team in accordance with the principle of flattening, the key positions are mainly filled by domestic dispatched personnel, most of the other positions employ local employees, design management relies on Huanqiu East China Company, and construction management relies on Huanqiu Six Construction Company
.
In the later stage of project construction, the team boldly appointed local experienced employees to key positions, and the proportion of local employees reached 85%, forming a cross-cultural management team
with domestic personnel as the core positions and Malaysian local employees as the main body.

In 2022, the project entered the decisive stage
of accelerated sprint and full completion.
While making every effort to speed up the progress, each operation and each process of the project was strictly implemented in accordance with the owner's management process and quality acceptance standards, and finally produced qualified products
on November 16.
