Certified issuance reached a new monthly high of $6 billion, accounting for 40% of June's volume, with the first certified climate bonds coming from Auckland City Council (New Zealand), Union Bank of Belgium (Belgium) and National Australia Bank Trust Services Limited (Australia).
Sustainalytics accounted for the majority of transactions, about 40%, followed by Zhongcai Green Finance with 26%.
Overall, 89% of transactions benefited from external reviews in June, and 73% included second-party opinions

More than half of the issuances in June came from financial companies

The largest issuer is Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, the world's largest bank, with 16% of the monthly total, followed by Norges Bank Boligkreditt with 12% and Tent Holdings with 10%.
The energy sector was the main target of revenue distribution, remaining at 48 per cent, while buildings and transport accounted for 26 per cent and 14 per cent
, respectively.
In June, China continued to lead the way, accounting for 26% of monthly issuance, compared to just 8%
