In July 2020, the WANO composite index of Unit 3 of Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant reached a full score, representing that the comprehensive performance of the unit entered the world's advanced level of nuclear power

This is the first time that the WANO composite index has reached a full score
since the commercial operation of Unit 3.
It is also the first time that Fuqing Nuclear Power has two units (units 1 and 3) at the same time to achieve full scores in the WANO composite index

Unit 3 of Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant started construction in December 2010 and was put into commercial operation in October 2016, and the unit continued to maintain "zero non-stop" performance after commercial operation, and on May 11, 2020, the unit achieved continuous and safe operation for 1,500 days

to measure the safety level of nuclear power internationally.
