Recently, Fujifilm announced that it will invest 188 million US dollars to establish a new cell nutrition media production base
in the United States.

Fujifilm's move aims to meet the supply
of pharmaceutical companies and research institutions.
The investment is said to have built a new production site
in North Carolina with a total floor area of 23,500 square meters.
Construction will begin in spring 2023 and be completed and operational in 2025

The new production site will be operated
by Fujifilm's subsidiary in the United States.
The annual production capacity of the new site is 3,300 kiloliters for liquid media and 800 tons
for powder media.
In addition, Fujifilm has production facilities
in California, the Netherlands and Japan.
