According to the ICIS website on June 1st, according to the MRC DataScope report, Russia imported 8,600 tons of suspended polyvinyl chloride (SPVC) in the first four months of 2021, a year-on-year increase of 59%, and exports decreased by 12%.
In April, Russia's imports of suspended PVC fell to 1,000 tons from 4,300 tons in March.
Despite the increase in PVC prices in foreign markets, Russian producers have reduced export sales on the contrary.

MOSCOW (MRC)--Imports of suspension polyvinyl chloride (SPVC) into Russia totalled 8,600 tonnes in the first four months of 2021, up by 59% year on year as exports decrease by 12%, according to MRC's DataScope report.
April SPVC imports to Russia dropped to 1,000 tonnes from 4,300 tonnes in March.
Despite higher PVC prices in foreign markets, Russian producers, conversely, reduced their export sales.
