A few days ago, the French EPS Group announced that the company is currently building a new integrated power station such as photovoltaic power generation in the high-end resort resort of the Maldives Islands, and the project is about to be completed
.
Construction of the power station is scheduled to proceed as originally planned, and operations are scheduled to begin at
the end of June 2016.
It is reported that the scale of the integrated power station is 2MW and will supply power
to cabins and other units in the resort.
The off-grid method of not being connected to the grid is a real microgrid system
.
The power station consists of solar panels, a battery system, and an altitude control system, which can be operated
remotely.
By miniaturizing and modularizing the system, solar panels
can be installed on the roofs of various buildings in the resort.
With a total investment of around EUR 450,000, the plant will save 275,000 liters of diesel per year and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 165 tons
.
In late February, French EPS had already operated a similar integrated power station
in Somalia in eastern Africa.
All are responsible for engineering and construction by its subsidiary Elvi Energy
.
To date, the EPS Group has built a total of 3MW of hydrogen energy systems, 8.
7MW of integrated power stations and 44.
3MWh of stationary battery systems
.
The total capacity of the equipment reached 21.
1MW
in 21 countries around the world.
