Exxon Mobil Corp said on Monday that its carbon capture and storage centre in southeastern Australia will use existing infrastructure to operate a depleted oil field in the Brim field off the coast of Gippsland, Victoria, Australia.

ExxonMobil said it is currently conducting design studies on front-end engineering to determine the potential for carbon capture and storage
