    ExtraEnergy, a leading independent energy supplier, has appointed Nick Read as Group Chief Executive Officer

    Nick is the first external CEO of Extra Energy, responsible for the entire group
    in the UK, Germany and Cyprus.
    He took office
    on Monday, 9 April.

    With 25 years of consumer and commercial experience, Mr Nick has a track record of leading large-scale, complex change projects that put clients at the heart
    of business operations.
    He was previously CEO of Nisa Retail Limited, where he led the company's stabilization and transformation, increasing revenue to £1.
    5 billion before it was eventually sold to
    cooperatives.

    Previously, Nick was Account Director at Thomas Cook Group, Director of Commercial Operations at Vodafone UK, Head of Customer Experience at Lloyds Bank Group, and Client Service Director
    at Tesco PLC.
    Nick's experience makes him the ideal person to transform the Group's operations and put consumers at the heart of Extra Energy, ensuring the business can meet the challenges
    of the rapidly evolving energy supply sector.

    The current CEO and founder Moti Ben-Moshe will take on his new role as Executive Chairman, allowing him to focus on product innovation, improving services and creating new opportunities for Extra Group as well as his other business interests
