October 20-21, 2018, the 2018 China-Japan High-Level Dialogue of Scientists, co-sponsored by the China Association of Science and Technology and the Japan Science and Technology Association, was held in Qingdao on the theme of "Intelligent Science and Technology to Respond to an Aging Society". The dialogue invited more than 30 well-known academicians and experts from China and Japan to give special presentations, and about 300 experts and scholars from domestic research institutes, universities, national societies and the Japanese government, universities and enterprises gathered to talk about smart old-age care, discuss the feasibility and prospects of China-Japan pension industry cooperation, and provide advice and suggestions to the governments, society and enterprises of the two countries.
