Recently, Evonik announced that the company's new integrated polyamide 12 (PA12) production facility in the Maer Chemical Park in Germany has completed construction and is expected to be put into operation within this year

This project has invested nearly 500 million euros and is Evonik's largest investment project in Germany so far

The company stated that the project has overcome various restrictions of the epidemic during the construction period

The new integrated production facility will be put into operation within the year as scheduled

Evonik said that at present, each production unit of the plant will gradually be put into normal operation and is expected to be fully put into operation in the fourth quarter

The production facility created 120 new high-skilled jobs and increased the total production capacity of Evonik PA12 by more than 50%
