    On February 8, 2022, the European Union issued notification G/TBT/N/EU/870, announcing draft requirements for post-processing of fertilizer products and digestate residues

    The Fertilizer Products Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 was adopted in June 2019 and will apply from July 2022
    .
    In preparation for the transition to the new harmonized rules, EU Member States and interested stakeholders informed the Commission of the need to adjust some of the technical provisions in its annexes
    .
    Some of the most important revisions relate to: REACH registration of polymers and magnesium oxide; post-processing of digests; efficiency of products containing inhibitory compounds
