Enphase Energy, a global energy technology company, announced that it has signed a manufacturing agreement with Flex to include its plant in Mexico
.
As part of the agreement, Flex will begin producing Enphase products
to the Mexican market in the second quarter of 2019.
The delivery is part of
an upcoming mitigation plan for the U.
S.
USTR 301 tariffs.
Enphase Energy's CEO said, "Flex has been a great manufacturing partner and helped Enphase add a production line
in Mexico.
Flex provides a cost-neutral way to expand our existing offerings and develop new products
faster.
Increased agility will help Enphase better serve its global customers
by reducing cycle times, streamlining inventory and lowering tariffs.
