Injection molding machine solutions provider Engel has recently opened a new technology center at its headquarters in Schwertberg, Austr.

Company CEO Stefan Engleder said the new technology center will serve as a vertically integrated pilot injection molding plant and will be able to support customers more comprehensively on the road to smart factori.

According to Engel, the Engel New Technology Center covers an area of 1,700 square mete.

Its own production team is the first user of all newly developed Inject 0 technologi.

Engleder explained that using the concept of vertical integration, with the help of ENGEL's e-connect customer portal and TIG authentig technology, ENGEL's new technology center is interconnected with ENGEL's factories and subsidiaries around the world, demonstrating cross-regional integration practic.

Engel emphasized that, in addition to improving production transparency, intelligent assistance systems make a significant contribution to improving the production efficiency of smart factori.

All machines in the new technology center are equipped with various auxiliary systems from the ENGEL product ran.
